About me

Hi again, I’m Mahita~

I am a User Experience designer currently located in Los Angeles.

My background in healthcare helped me discover that I am passionate about learning people’s stories and using those stories to tailor their experiences so they feel comfortable. This passion, along with a longing for creativity in my work, led me to the UX field. Now, as a UX designer, I always strive to maintain the importance of user research in my work.

I love spending time with people, listening to music, drawing, and writing. In my spare time, I design products for my Etsy shop.

More about me…

  • Album cover with a Ferris wheel against a purple sky, featuring a quote: 'Decide for yourself what it means to be happy' by BTS-Lights, and a barcode underneath.

    Music

Making playlists is my favorite thing to do. Something I like to do with my playlists is arranging them by color. I also occasionally make remixes of my favorite songs using Garageband to post on my social media accounts.

  • Open grid notebook with handwritten cursive notes and a black and white Pen

    Writing

I enjoy writing short stories and essays in my free time. I sometimes post them online, though more often than not I keep the stories to myself. You can read my UX stories on Medium.

  • A drawing of a hand with fingers crossed. Above the fingers, there are three small purple hearts of varying sizes.

    Drawing

I have loved drawing ever since I can remember. When I was younger, I often drew birthday cards for my friends and family. These days I post my art on Instagram when I get a chance.

  • Close-up of a small painting featuring a yellow balloon floating in the sky with clouds, and a brown object below on water.

    Painting

Like drawing, I have been painting since I was young, starting with painting classes in the 3rd grade. I find it to be a relaxing pastime that helps me de-stress. I occasionally post my paintings online as well.
